1. Data Ownership & Creative Commons
All observation records, photos, and location coordinates submitted to the India Roadkill Monitoring Project are made available for research, conservation planning, and educational purposes.
2. Safety First
Volunteers and citizen scientists must prioritize personal safety when observing carcasses. Never stop abruptly on high-speed expressways or enter active railway tracks without proper authorization and safety vests.
3. Ethical Reporting
Do not intentionally harm wildlife or stage false roadkill observations. All submitted reports undergo scientific verification by wildlife biologists.
